Who was your favorite Character: The Magician
How did you feel after reading it: I am not sure if I liked it. I am beginning to not be a fan of serials rather then stand alone novels within a familiar world. It seemed to jump around and there wasn’t a clear picture on who her love interest will be. Magician, Devil, Brody?

What was it about: Sometimes, to see the eyes of your greatest enemy, you need to look into a mirror.
In this final chapter of Mitch and Eden's story, everyone will be tested. Morality and honor weighed against getting the job done. But desperation can make people do things they never thought they’d be capable of. And returning from hell is a pretty damn big wake-up call, especially once Mitch realizes that the woman he loves has been in a different kind of hell…and she can’t get out of it.
Who was your favorite Character: Mitch again :)
How did you feel after reading it: I am glad that it had a real ending and that there is a chance for more books in the same world.

Jekyll by Lauren Stewart

Title: Jekyll
Author: Lauren Stewart
Date Read: Feb 2017
Number of Pages: 355
Why did you read it: I really liked the first book Hyde 02
What was it about: “When the devil tells you to stop struggling, do you?”
From the moment Eden wakes up, she knows she’s not in Kansas anymore. She isn’t even on Mitch’s doorstep, her dark-side’s favorite place to dump her. No, she’s somewhere far worse. And far more sterile. Sometimes a girl needs to adapt, be flexible, change. And that’s exactly what Eden will do, all the way back to Mitch. No matter what she has to do to get there. Because his life depends on it.
Mitch has lost something he’d never thought he’d find to begin with. And “It’s better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all” is a lie. A lie people tell themselves to make the pain go away. But the pain doesn’t go away, not in someone like Mitch. It festers. It grows. Until it can’t be held back anymore, even by the bars of a cage.
Who was your favorite Character: Mitch
How did you feel after reading it: I never really liked the books that end in cliffhangers but these were pretty good. I liked the go between with Mitch and Landon. It made me laugh. It was kind of dark but good.

Hyde by Lauren Stewart

Title: Hyde
Author: Lauren Stewart
Date Read: Feb 2017
Number of Pages: 378
Why did you read it: It was on my nook. Hyde 01
What was it about: Honesty is impossible when you don't know the truth to begin with.
Mitchell Turner is everything women want most in a man--he's charismatic, successful, and undeniably gorgeous. But he's not a man--he's a monster. By venting his rage 24/7, Mitch keeps people out of the danger zone that surrounds him. But, after the most incredible night of his life, he realizes that might not be possible. Except the woman he wakes up with claims she doesn't remember any of it. And that kind of thing can make a guy insecure.
Eden Colfax is kind, loyal, honest to a fault, and cavity-inducing sweet. To rid herself of the monsters that haunted her broken childhood, Eden doesn't lie, doesn't curse, and definitely never wakes up naked in strangers' beds...until the day she does. Then the flashbacks start--places she's never been, people she's never met, blood she's never spilled. And the only person with any answers is a man she never wants to see again.
What they don't know is that someone is manipulating them, determined to find out exactly what they're capable of. And when the truth leaves them nothing to hold onto, they will be forced into a partnership neither expected. Or wanted.
But in life, who you trust is as important as who you are. And when you can't even trust yourself, sometimes the only person you can rely on is the last person on earth you should be falling for.
Who was your favorite Character: Mitch
How did you feel after reading it: I really liked the book and ended up getting the rest in the trilogy.

She shouldn’t be here… She can’t even recall how she got here.
Except for the dream. Mya Boyle remembers the dream. She knows it’s somehow connected to her past, her present and the future.
Mya woke one morning in a field, a stag grazing close by as if it didn’t even notice her. She lay bare, like a babe from the womb, except for a wool blanket wrapped around her tightly.
A grown woman with no memory, no family, no money, nothing. Kayden McGregor found her while hunting. He was after the stag and nearly shot her with his arrow instead. Unable to leave her to the wolves of his clan, he took her to his home.
He resents her. She can’t bare to look at him. Or stop herself from staring when he doesn’t notice. Trapped, and yet somehow destined to be together.
Remember enough of the past… You may be able to control your future.
Who was your favorite Character: Kayden
How did you feel after reading it: It was really just a big book of sex. There was one other character in the book, otherwise it was just Mya and Kayden having sex over and over. Towards the end I started skipping the sex scenes.
